There are so many reviews on char kway teow. It's time to
have more varieties. Check out this review on one of my favourite food - fried oyster egg
omelette (hao-jian).Not many places seem to sell good fried oyster egg omelette. It's
becoming a dying art. Some food-courts do sell them, but those are usually not very good.
This stall I'm recommending is at Clementi Hawker Centre next to the market. The fried
oyster egg omelette is very nice.
One: There are a lot of eggs in one plate.
Two: There are a lot of fried little oysters in one plate. J
Three: It is NOT too oily.
Four: It is NOT wet and soggy.
Five: It is crisp and delicious. (Take my word)
The five criteria to a good plate of fried oyster egg omelette. The uncle who sells it
sprinkles a generous helping of spring onions on it too. He also sells only fried oyster
egg omelette. How else can you get to master a skill? Even my 80-year old Granny likes it.
She said it's very nice.
Price ranges from $3 to $10 (I think). Plate serving is generous. Go try it now and let
me know if you agree with me that you like it too! J
